DJ ALEX-T

With 20+ years in the industry, Alick Wiratunga Aka Alex -T has continued to be one of the highlighted personalities amongst Dubai and Sri Lankan audiences.

Alex – T kick-started his journey as a Mobile DJ at Reggae DJ Effects, and soon joined one of the largest media networks; E! FM, Sri Lanka as a station DJ & Music Consultant, while consulting station music. He also hosted “Club Connection” which was the official weekend mix show together with a Co-DJ.

In time he was offered a finer opportunity at Kiss 898, Sri Lanka as a DJ/Presenter, Station Producer, and Promotion Coordinator. The drive for music and entertainment landed him with the weekend mix shows and a request show every Sunday. Kiss 898 branded ‘Alex – T’ as ‘Kitt Ryder‘ who was no stranger during that era.

He moved to Dubai (UAE) in 2011 and ever since, Alex – T has transcended his journey to new aspects and goals.

He is now a Global Music producer, event Organizer, and DJ. His well-rounded skills & creativity have got him producing music for international labels such as BONZAI Progressive – Belgium, Rice Bowl Recordings – South Africa, Emperor Recordings – Serbia, Big Tunes – USA & our very own Sri Lankan record label, Serendip records.

Alex-T, been one of the founding members of Dplus events PVT LTD (Sri Lanka & Dubai), is also the Director for Strategy and Operations, which is one of the elite event companies in UAE, giving Sri Lanka-based artists the opportunity to perform in UAE – Dubai.

He also hosts twice a month an underground radio show called ‘INNER SPACES‘, where he features international DJs & Producers on ART online Radio Sri Lanka. As a DJ while playing selected gigs, and being in charge of his event planning organization, no doubt Alex – T is one of the busiest individuals in the Dubai entertainment industry.
